Kick off

Dota 2 has really given me a hard time, playing through that horrible 'training'. It really sucks if you think you are playing a tutorial but somehow there are players with expert knowledge of the game who just decide to do some training-battles and bash noobs. :-P But finally I made it and thanks to two awesome teachers I got ready to go yesterday. After a final testrun I decide to get going.

As usual it takes some time. Twice this time. However, we finally get their and I pick Morphling, the hero I testran. As I choose least-picked noone is playing the known heroes. We get Dire and I opt for bottom lane with some assassin-style character. He didn't have any teachers. That much is obvious. I start last hitting he starts... hitting. Without any hesitation he keeps pushing the lane dying once very early and having me die once to save him from dying in vane again. Miraculously we manage to stand our ground and even push the outer tower. Shortly thereafter I get that life-drain mask and start jungling.

The enemy team has the undoubtedly single best player in this battle but we get lucky when 1-3 of them temporarily disconnect. That way my team manages to keep the kill-score even and push all three lanes right to their base while I jungle to glory. :-P However they don't manage to get into the base, as the enemies are about comparable and there are massive turrets firing for assistance. At that point I am level 16 and have Manta-Style + Dominators Helm and that big Blade I need for Satanic (Baad name... I will try to play characters who don't need that equipment). I get right down to their base and break the resistance of two heroes (including the top-player) My first entrance into their base kills two turrets, four barracks and some other stuff. I have to go out of the base but only once before I return and kill the remaining stuff.

==> Team was Ok, considering how noob I am. We won, because most of the time two enemies were disconnected and because the enemy Bloodseeker (the good player) couldn't stand against a full scale, well equipped carry + a mediocre team. Was not my victory (team would have won without me) But I did accelerate it. Without me, my team would have taken forever to kill their base as their Bloodseeker was clearly dominating.
